Design Notebook
On Monday of each week, students will bring in two images. One will be an example of a good interior design, and the other will be an example of an interior that was not designed well, or that the student does not like. Students should be prepared to discuss the reasons for their choices - what parts are done well or poorly, why, what could the designer have done differently? The images will be added to the student's design notebook each week.
Other assignments and handouts will also be added to the notebook throughout the semester.
Assignment -
Design and create an object according to these guidelines:
- it conveys your personality
- includes your first name (or nickname) clearly readable
- can be 2D or 3D
- is able to stand up on it's own
- no more than 6" in any dimension
