Week 15 Monday, 5/4 Residential Interior project due. Commercial interiors projects returned. Begin final stage: For the final stage of the semester project, a complete set of the project sheets will be put together and turned in. The previous projects will be put together with a title sheet and stapled together with a binding strip (provided). Previous projects should have corrections and additions completed according to the notes on the grading sheets. Sheet sets should have the following pages, in order:
Sheets must all be 24" x 18" and bound on the left side as explained in class. The project should be neat and professional. All sheets should have a sheet number in some type of title block, located in the same place on all sheets (preferably lower right corner). Project sets are due Monday, May 11, no later than 1:30 pm. No projects will be accepted late. Final exam and grading information The final exam will be optional. Students who are satisfied with their grade can choose not to take it. The exam will be sent in an e-mail in .doc format and must be returned the same way. Students will have approximately 24 hours to complete and return the exam. The exam will be partially short answer (to test knowledge) and part essay (to test understanding). Students will be able to use any material from class handouts or notes and the class website, but must complete the exam on their own (no contact with other students). All answers must be in your own words. Exams that contain suspected plagiarism or collusion will be submitted to the Dean of Students for investigation. Semester grades will be computed in the following way:
If no final is taken, the grade will be the average of the remaining grades, with the sheet set counted twice. Wednesday, 5/6 Residential interiors projects returned. Bring title page (in progress) for discussion. |
