Create and enhance a photograph using selection tools and techniques. For this assignment you will select your own theme or concept to explore. You should make this selection before you begin shooting and not just assign one after the fact. In class, you will enhance this image in Photoshop using the tools you worked with previously and the selection tools. Review these techniques in your text. You will present two 8.5x11” prints: one before adjustments and one after. The RAW files for the assignment are due MondayOctober 12th. Final Project: If you have not already done so, you will bring a typewritten first draft of your final project proposal to class on October 19th. You should write about what you intend to do, the theme or concept you wish to explore, or the story you have to tell with your images. You should tell us why you chose your project and describe the methodology you will use in carrying it out. We will discuss your proposals in class on and you will bring in a final draft on October 25th. . Your final project will consist of no less than 10 images, printed 13x19”, that function together as a single work. |
