Accessing electronic reserves ("EReserves"):

Instructors often leave extra materials for their students to use "on reserve" in the Library. Once your instructor submits a file to the Library, we can now post it directly to the online eReserve system, available online around the clock from any computer, at home or on campus.

As a student, you no longer have to:
  • stand in line to get the paper reserve materials
  • pay ten cents a page to photocopy the items
  • carry the material around the rest of the semester.
You can now access these materials any time online, from home or from campus, 24/7.

Getting started with Electronic Reserve ("eReserves")

1. To begin using eReserves, open the Library web page.

2. Click on the "EReserves: electronic access to course reserves " choice on the main screen:

3. Once inside the EReserves program, select the subject and then find your specific instructor and class. All of the materials put on EReserve for one class will usually be in one area. You do not need usually special passwords to open, print and save these materials.

NOTE: If you cannot find your instructor or class, check with your instructor to verify when the files were actually sent to the Library. If your instructor has verified that the materials have indeed been sent successfully to the Library, contact a Liaison Librarian for your subject area to help your find the materials.
