Topic: Your choice….Select a topic within the framework of 1492 and 1877.

Your paper should be 4-8 pages in length.  If the topic is too broad in scope, it will lack a focus; too brief, it will lack sufficient depth.  Quality is determined by research, research by the number of references.  Your paper should include a minimum of three references outside of the lecture text.  Not more than one of these may be from the Internet.  Papers will not be accepted unless references are listed at the end of the paper and tied to the text with quotation marks, parentheses, or a numbering system.  The paper should include a title page, body and references cited page.  Please feel free to choose another topic within the framework of 1492 and 1877.  Contact me for suggestions if you are at a loss for a topic.
