Raises the reading level of students through the acquisition of basic
vocabulary and comprehension skills.
Prerequisite: Assessment (Compass score 31-43) 3 credit hours Note: May not be used to satisfy the requirements of an associate degree. Developmental courses may be taken for a combined total of no more than 27 credit hours. |

Developmental Reading II |
Offers additional instruction in developing vocabulary and comprehension
skills. Effective study skills are introduced.
Prerequisite: READ 0300 or Assessment (Compass score 44-70) 3 credit hours Note: May not be used to satisfy the requirements of an associate degree. Developmental courses may be taken for a combined total of no more than 27 credit hours.
