Collin College offers basic reading courses to enable students to acquire a solid foundation for successful performance in college level classes. Among the courses offered to promote success are READ 0300, 0305, and 0310. Student must take the assessment (via the Testing Center) for placement purposes. Once placed in a course, support services are provided to enable students to succeed. Among the services are video tapes in the library on specific topics, tutoring, and study skills seminars.
