Biology 1406 Online Course

General Biology I lecture online.

Biology 1406 laboratory is a co-requisite. Laboratory courses are held on campus. You must be enrolled in both lecture and lab to receive credit.

This course, Biology 1406 lecture, is offered in a distance education format over the Internet. Students do not attend a traditional class scheduled at a fixed time. However, students are expected to make several visits (at least 5) to the Spring Creek Campus Testing Center for exams. Click here for a look at the syllabus & addendum.

This course is rigorous (difficult and time-consuming). It requires at least 12 hours of study per week during the long semester and 7 hours a day during the summer assuming you have some science background. If you do not have any science background it will be a challenge and require more of your time. The course is best suited for the self-motivated individual who can work independently. Any student currently enrolled can log into the course on the FIRST DAY of CLASS (not earlier) by following the login instructions at log on to Blackboard .
