Fire Science courses are scheduled to accommodate traditional firefighter work shifts. Full-time, full-paid firefighters employed by any political subdivision enrolled in fire science courses within CCCC's Fire Science program are exempt from paying tuition and laboratory fees.

Students planning to transfer to a college or university should check with the CCCC academic advisor prior to beginning this program. 68 credit hours required to graduate.

Students interested in enrolling in the Fire Academy should contact the Fire Science Office at 972.548.6836.

If you have a valid Library Card, you can access many journals from home or other off-campus locations. You will be asked to enter your 14-digit library card number in order to log in and then the database containing the journals will open.
