How to checkout materials:

Apply for a library card:
Currently enrolled CCCCD Students: Present your current student ID at the LRC Check-Out Desk

Distance Education Students: Apply for a provisional card here

Residents of Collin County: If you are age 18 or over, show proof of residence (such as valid driver's license) at LRC Check-Out Desk. Residents ages 16 to 18 may receive a provisional card that allows them to check out three books at a time. Provisional cards require proof of residence and a drivers license.

Check out Time Limits:
Books, books on tape, CDs and software check out for 3 weeks
Math videos check out for 2 days
Videos and DVDs rent for $1 per title per night, or $1 per weekend or holiday period.

There is a limit of 15 items on one card at one time;

Renewals:
Books, CDs, audios and software can be renewed twice using online or phone renewals provided there are no holds on the material. Videos and DVDs may not be renewed by phone. Renew online for:

Late fees:
Books, CDs, audios and software - $0.25 / day
Videos and DVDs - $1.00 / day Math Videos - $3.00/ day
Telecourse videos:Telecourse videos are available at the LRC Check-Out Desk for currently enrolled Telecourse students only. The length of checkout varies according to course.Telecourse videos returned after due date incur a fee of $1.00 per tape/day - maximum $15.00 each

Reserve Materials:
Reserve materials, including lecture notes, videos, articles and audios assigned for classes, are kept at the Check-Out Desk. Check-out time varies by campus and course.

Electronic Reserves (ERes) will soon be available via the internet for some courses.
