semester, there will be class lectures, class discussions, group
projects, online assignments, assignments (lab manual), and class

of learning techniques for an active learning environment so that student
participation is an important part of the classroom environment.

attendance. Excessive absences, TWO
or more unexcused absences, will constitute a VIOLATION of the class
contract, resulting in the reduction of one's final grade by ONE letter

Calendar:
Exams: There
will be either one chapter or two chapters for exams each week. Class will finish chapter(s) in class and
then have one week to take that exam(s) in the testing center.
Assignments: There will be a number of these applied
assignments (lab manual plus handouts) over the course of the semester,
including some internet assignments.
