There will be four (4) internet assignments with each worth a maximum of twenty-five (25) points with the possible point total for the four assignments being one hundred (100) points.
One of the more exciting areas of learning is the information highway, that is, the wealth of websites that have been created in recent years. With this internet expansion, everyone has an immediate and in-depth source of information. The goal of this assignment is to explore some websites that will enhance our knowledge of personality development and its application for human behavior.
Over the course of the semester there will be four (4)
assignments, exploring those websites related to the field of
personality. In the event that you
“discover” any websites that appear interesting, it would be appreciated
sharing that information with the class.
One great feature of the world of education is the sharing of
information, especially with the great technological advances in recent years.
Each student will be given a handout with the website address for each assignment along with a series of questions. The guidelines for this assignment include:
(1) Review the site and provide a brief description of the key features of this website
(2) Summarize your impressions of the site, that is, what did you like and/or dislike about the website?
(3) Respond to the questions for that assignment. It is always interesting to read what students view as the important aspects of these websites.
(4) Provide a critical analysis of the website. You can think of yourself as a movie critic as your feedback about these websites is greatly appreciated. It is only through the evaluation from the students that an accurate and honest evaluation can be maintained in order to identify the effectiveness of these sites for future use.
Each internet assignment will have a specific handout, including the due date for that assignment
