During the course of the semester, there will be class lectures, class discussions, group projects, online assignments and reading assignments.  The goal is to provide a variety of learning techniques for an active learning environment so that student participation is an important part of the classroom environment.

EXAM POLICY: All exams will be completed on the scheduled date.

You are expected to attend all classes.  You are responsible for your attendance.  Excessive absences, THREE or more unexcused absences, will constitute a VIOLATION of the class contract, resulting in the reduction of one's final grade by ONE letter grade.  If you are having difficulty with the course and/or school, please contact me immediately for assistance.

Course withdrawal policy: Last day to withdraw is April 16, 2004

Tentative Course Calendar:

Exams: There will be one chapter exam (multiple choice/testing center) per week with three exams constituting one full exam grade.

Internet assignments:  Handouts will provide information about the assignment as well as the completion dates for these assignments.
